History:
Many years ago, a group of four women began a healing prayer ministry at First Lutheran. They travelled to Florida at their own expense, to receive healing prayer training from Episcopal Priest, Rev. Tanya Beck. This ministry changed and grew over the years. It most recently included two components: a worship service with Healing Prayer, held on the third Saturday of each month, immediately preceding our monthly Saturday evening services. In addition, people were invited to light a candle at our Healing Prayer candle station. Our Healing Prayer Ministry is dedicated to Mary, the Mother of our Lord, for we feel her leading and guiding us in this ministry.
